Established in 1755, Wolsey is considered to be the oldest brand in British menswear, and is the proud holder of a Royal Warrant granted by HM The Queen. The 250-year-old brand today houses a modern, sophisticated and stylish performance collection that covers lifestyle casualwear, outerwear, knitwear, underwear and socks.
Wolsey is well known for its high-quality outerwear, knitwear and performance products. It was Wolsey that was commissioned to outfit the international explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott and his team on their 1911 expedition to the Antarctic. Wolsey also supplied knitwear to the forces during the First and Second World Wars, and its breathable, soft woollen and cashmere underwear garments have been providing quality since the 1800s.
In 2014 Wolsey also launched a golf collection worn by a number of well-known British golfers including Tom Lewis, Robert Rock and James Heath. Wolsey operates a flagship store in Brewer Street, just off London’s Regent Street.
